About the event
This year’s event was centered around the imperative of electrifying medium and heavy-duty fleets, emphasizing the practicality and business advantages of transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs). The program included panel presentations covering key topics such as spearheading innovation in the electrification of industries in British Columbia, the current landscape of electrifying heavy-duty commercial vehicles, large-scale EV fleet charging at workplaces, and strategies for scaling up fleets beyond initial pilot projects.
Attendees engaged in informative discussions and had the opportunity for hands-on learning and test-drive experiences. These experiences span light-duty vehicles, test-rides with medium and heavy-duty vehicles, and a diverse display of on-road, off-road, and fleet-relevant electric vehicles.
The event showcased zero-emission equipment like mobile battery packs, electric cargo bikes, and landscaping tools. Knowledgeable vendors and service providers supporting zero-emission infrastructure and maintenance were present, fostering networking opportunities alongside catered lunch for paid attendees.
