In the private sector, Brendon has tackled a diverse range of challenges, excelling in customer service, event planning, business development, communications, leadership, operations, and consulting.
By, transitioning to regional and municipal government, Brendon joined forces with incredibly talented individuals focused on solving society’s most pressing problems. Brendon works on programs addressing regional climate change, congestion and supporting shift to active transportation and shared transportation modes.
Throughout the years, Brendon has built strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders such as the Province of British Columbia, Province of Nova Scotia, BC Hydro, TransLink, Vancouver Coastal Health, Universities, Non-profit organizations, and Federal agencies.
Tracey O’Haggarty
Tracey is a seasoned and creative strategic communications consultant known for her expertise in planning, leadership communications, corporate and employee communications, content strategy, and event management. She possesses a unique set of skills that enable her to see the big picture and align activities to drive impact and enhance business outcomes.
With more than 15 years of experience in communications, marketing, and PR within both corporate and community-based settings, Tracey ventured into independent consulting. Her extensive portfolio includes designing and orchestrating in-person and virtual leadership forums, launching blogs and intranets, and preparing employees for significant banking system upgrades. Notably, she was an integral part of the award-winning BCAMA Marketer of the Year team and has always been deeply passionate about promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Andrew Ferreira
Andrew is a communications professional and graduate of Royal Roads University and BCIT. He brings a wealth of creativity and experience—his work has been broadcast via small regional transmitters in Northern British Columbia, to national airwaves, pinging from the Pacific to the Atlantic. His specialty is in science communication, as he was the long-time host of Weird Science on Global News Radio—helping to break down the densest and strangest scientific material into bite-sized, delicious pieces for the rest of us to enjoy. Andrew also has extensive experience with non-profit organisations, including the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, and ongoing work with the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. Andrew also serves as both the Public Relations Coordinator and Speakers’ Coordinator with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada’s Vancouver Centre.
With an ability to blend writing, audio engineering, and public relations skills, he’s aiming to help raise the profile for Electra Consulting’s client base with real, engaging stories as well as carefully crafted communication products that go above and beyond.
Morgan Mallett
Morgan is an award-winning multidisciplinary designer and brings over 19 years of experience to the Electra team. Her work has appeared in a variety of arenas, including: film + TV, print, museums and on the runway. Whether she’s designing motion graphics, developing brand standards, or creating a physical product, Morgan’s strength lies in her ability to synthesise diverse elements into cohesive and compelling results. Empathy and human-centered design is at the heart of her practice.
